"The detailing was great. I agree with one of the other reviews about the overuse of Armor All and the eternal slipperiness that remains on your floor mats and steering wheel for far too long. What I am most upset about is the $2 bill that was taken from under my floor mat. This $2 has been under the floor mat of my driver side since 2012 in 3 different vehicles. 10 years it survived under my feet and after one trip to Madadashcar, it's gone. It was placed there by my parents as a superstitious protective piece, but it still was special to me. Now it is gone."
"Yes. It's true they did a very nice job detailing my car, but dagnabit, they used Armor All on EVERY surface - including the surfaces that Armor All is NOT MEANT FOR - including, but not limited to: Front seat and rear seat upholstery (are you kidding me!!!???! FABRIC UPHOLSTERY!!!!), the weather mat in the trunk, the emergency brake handle (which I believe is illegal), possibly the steering wheel (also illegal and dangerous!) but I am not certain about the steering wheel because when I went to place some items in the back seat, I placed my hands down on the seat and nearly face-planted on the seat due to the silicone slipperiness. After I was covered in silicone (Armor All), I went to drive my car and the steering wheel was subsequently lathered in Armor All, or it was from my hands that were completely covered in Armor All from the back seat incident. Either way, it took over a week for all the Armor All to either dry or wear off enough to the point that I could grip the steering wheel again without slipping all over it. Not sure how much Armor All I ate over the next several days as this stuff is nearly impossible to wash off one's hands. Yay cancer! Aside from the Armor All nightmare, I have to say that the car was very very visually "clean". I do like driving in my newly detailed car, but wish I didn't need to detox and shower after each ride in the car for the 7+ days following its retrieval. I wouldn't go back for another detailing that's for sure. The woman who does the detailing (maybe she was having a bad day) is quite (insert not nice adjective here). Due to her off-putting attitude at drop-off, I deemed her likely not emotionally stable enough or capable of handling honest in-person feedback - hence the online review. Two stars is the best I can offer right now."
"Not a car "detail" service at all, barely even a wipe down service. Zero attention to detail. I ordered the "complete detail" which they claim to do both the exterior and interior. Starting with the exterior, my "finished" Jeep Patriot had lines of mud coming down the side of it. This often happens near the gas cap and license plate when you just spray it down, for a complete service they couldn't have wiped off those lines before I picked it up? Obviously it wasn't waxed like they said they would do, those water/dirt lines wouldn't have been there. Windshield still had big splatters on it too, again zero attention to detail. A $15 automated car wash will do more for the exterior of your car than this place, it will get the undercarriage and shine your wheels too, which is not something they do here. The interior: they say they won't clean hard to get areas, like inside the vents (which normal car detailed do); apparently here they consider the entire inside as hard to get places. Don't get me wrong it was vacuumed and the floor mats were washed, but not a single plastic or glass surface was actually cleaned. Cup holders and radio were dirty, the trunk area and plastic interior panels weren't touched, and every single window wasn't cleaned either. You can see where the employee took armor all and did one swipe on the dashboard and called the inside done. I asked if the spare tire area could be cleaned (otherwise they wouldn't, which again a real detail does) and the guy "forgot" to put the latch back in my Jeep, luckily I checked and he went back in the shop to get it for me. Now onto the staff. OMG what a horrible customer service experience. The guy in the front who claims to be the owner of the entire multi state franchise is a POS. He blames the customer for the poor job his employee does. I went back in twice directly after my "detail" telling him how horrible the job was, he had the detailer look at to for 5 min while I used their cleaning supplies to clean my own car that I just paid to have detailed. After the first time the "owner" should have looked at the Jeep himself. When I went home I took a bottle of 409 and did just one pass over the dash and had a dirty rag. I spent maybe 4 or 5 min and did the cup holders, radio and AC/heat button area, and the drivers side door, again the guy didn't even attempt to clean the inside. I sent these photos to the text number they have which goes to the female owner who agreed it was a horrible job (especially when she saw it in person, something the male "owner" never did). She had me come back the next day and she would do it herself. She really just did the front area, there was still some dirt on the plastic panels in the back seat and trunk areas but it was a significant improvement. I still spent about 10min doing the rest of the panels, back windows, and such but again I shouldn't I have clean my car more after a "complete detail". One big problem I have with the female owner though was she texted me at 6am and threatened if I didn't take my honest (her words nasty) review off Facebook she would not honor a redo. She also told me she would give me a loaner car, as this was the second entire day I had to leave my car in an area I don't live or have any way back to work, this was just an empty promise however. If you do make the poor decision to go here, make sure you have the female employees do the "detail", the male employees are complete garbage. But seriously do yourself a favor and go a mile down the road to the automatic/self service car wash, you'll spend maybe an hour and $50 (wash, vacuum, and they even sell cleaning supplies) and your car will be more clean than the "complete detail" service they offer here."
"After over four years, we finally were embarrassed enough by our car to have it detailed. Two cats and five dogs, two of which used to get car sick a LOT, took a toll on the interior that even car seat covers couldn't stop. It got to the point where it looked like we lived in it. The folks at Madadashcar were super friendly on the phone, I scheduled an appointment first thing in the morning and headed to a local coffee shop (20 minute walk) while waiting for the car to be detailed. It took longer than expected due the abuse our family car had taken over the years but the end result was spectacular - like a brand spanking new car. The gentlemen who detailed it couldn't have been nicer and I thought the prices were incredibly fair. We're super happy, finally no longer embarrassed to be seen near our car, and will not wait another four years to have it cleaned. I wholeheartedly recommend Madadashcar."
"I decided to try the new guys in town for an oil change. The vehicle is a Toyota Sienna van. I asked for synthetic oil but did not ask the price. Very big mistake on my part. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Twenty minutes later I was presented with a bill for $110.00. Nothing extra was done. I called two other places in town where I have had oil changes on previous vehicles and asked how much an oil change with synthetic oil would be for my vehicle. One was $58 to $68 depending on the amount of oil needed. The other place told me about $49.00. Wow. I won’t be wasting my time or $ at this place again."
