Reviews of Burlington Earth Clock
"A beautiful spot to walk by all year long. If you are considering visiting Okaledge any time of the year, visit and spend some time by the water or on the benches and look out to the horizon where the water meets the mountains, such a beautiful site and take a stroll by the earth clock."
"I wanted to watch the Sun rise over this earth clock, but no one in Vermont seems to have knowledge of the invention of the leash, so I braved a teenie bit of the trail to catch a glimpse, and thenquickly left. Dog owners who don’t leash on public trails: shame on you! Vermont: you have so far to come in terms of accessibility and safety for people with disabilities (and the elderly I’d imagine). I have been here a matter of days, and I think I saw a dog leashes once! This means people who are medically fragile like me are not safe on any public trails in your state. Shame on you."
"Very cool to get my clock straight here and be part of universe of nature."
"Earth clock in Oakledge park is super cool. Located near the walking and cycling trail, it is a big circle with large stones forming a natural clock resulting from the sunlight. The view of the water from this place is also nice and relaxing."
"Very cool and interesting piece on the shores if lake Champlain. It is definitely worth checking out if your walking along the path"
