"Recently bought a Stihl chainsaw which came assembled… Went to go use it and it started smoking like crazy while barely cutting. Turns out the ding dong who assembled it put the chain on backwards, even though there is a picture on the bar showing what direction it should be on. So double check anything that you buy here that was assembled by the “professionals” at this location. Also wanted to add that my usual store is the Barre location and never had an issue at that store with preassembled purchases."

Please go with the 2 star review or less, this place has gone down hill. You can never reach them by phone to ask questions. Because it always goes to an automated that says they are helping other customers. Please call back later and their prices are very high, not a very good store anymore."

"Used to be a great local place to shop, now that Aubuchon owns it they will not answer the phones, prices for goods that are damaged or missing pieces are WAY too high, and the corporate slogan is we fleece you because of inflation. Why wouldn’t the store manager address the criticism instead of some corporate email address they reply with to negative reviews that probably goes to nowhere just like the answering service. Redirects you back to the business location?? Why?"

"Very nice people! Helpful and knowledgeable. So much nicer than the big hardware stores where I can never find what I need and usually can't find anyone to help me. I also appreciate the fact that they take UPS packages. Highly recommend."
