"It's a nice way to get furniture and such if you don't have much money on hand."
"It was ok but I guess I didn’t make myself clear when I said I get paid every other Tuesday cause the I have to pay cause they messed up an put it for Saturday not every other Tuesday even though I paid on a Tuesday not how I thought I would start out my agreement again"
"I was very pleased with the service and time frame they found brand new e bike for me it's a cool riding bike I enjoy it much thanks again"
"RAC is one of those places where you win some and you lose some. In my opinion, you lose slightly more than you win. Pros: >You get the item immediately, vs having to save the money up and THEN buy it. >The items are surprisingly decent quality. I weigh 200+ and I stood on one of drawers out of the dresser and it didn't even bend. >That whole 6-months-same-as-cash thing saves a lot of money. >Doesn't charge interest if you pay off early. >My personal store, everyone is nice and they know me personally so it's fun to stop in and pay and say hi. Cons: >You could just save the money and buy an item outright, not have to worry about paying something every month. But then you have to go months without the item. >The items could be a lot higher quality. They don't break but you can tell it's pressed wood and chinese paint and nasty. >When it comes time to get rid of the RAC item and get a new thing, it's impossible. RAC superglues everything together so you can't unscrew it and bring it to the dumpster. Either gotta throw it away whole or hammer it apart and make a HUGE mess. >You still end up paying a lot more for a lot less even with the 6 months cash deal, just cuz that's the nature of the beast with these kinda businesses. >Doesn't report to your credit score, which I guess could be a good thing if you're bad with payments, but I'm always good with payments so I wish it reported and helped my score. >The insurance thing? Charges you extra each month but then doesn't really cover anything. My table broke last year and they basically told me "oh well, can't replace it, but you can come buy a new one!" and then the same thing with my couch this year. >The spam calls. OMG they call like 3 times a week. It's ridiculous. if I wanted to buy something, I would go there or go to the website. Stop trying to upsell me please."
"I bought a slightly used washer and dryer from them outright. They told me that they just got them back so they went clean but would be before they got brought to my house which the delivery date was a week and half after I bought them. They got them to my house and they were both absolutely disgusting, animal hair everywere in the dryer, lint trap full, washing machine had a dirt ring in the drum. I called them up to complain and the store manager did nothing but tell me sorry. Then not even 2 days later the dryer starts to squeak while drying and the washing machine wouldn't drain properly. Called her back up cause I paid for the warranty on them, she sent out the same guys that delivered it to check it out, the machines wouldn't make the sounds again but I had recorded video of both of them not working right. The guys told me that they could take them but I wouldn't get a loaner set cause I owned my set outright, and most likely the service center wouldn't get the set to duplicate the sounds either so they would just send them back as fine. So this store and store manager should get less then 1 star!"
