"Nice quick walk"
"I live near Heron Pond. The trail runs around the whole pond. It also comes out into other areas. It is very beautiful. You're guaranteed to see herrings and ducks and occasionally other wildlife. You may even find a fox who likes to follow you or a squirrel. All the trails here meet up with other trails. You can make this a short walk around the water. Or you can make it a very long walk and go even further. It's your choice if you want to come out into a completely different area and take on another hike from there. You can do so. Or just finish the walk around Heron pond. There is a school right beside it. It has a nice playground. For when you need the rest. While the kids finish working off their energy."

"The trailhead is hard to find and it only seems to be properly marked for half the perimeter of the pond. However, it’s a nice walk and you might even see some turtles! A couple of parts were a little boggy due to collapsed beaver dams. Overall a pleasant walk."
