"The trail to Eliza Adams is well marked and well worn; a Christmas break hike in the rain, we had to watch the footing a bit but it wasn’t freezing rain- if it had been snow a whole other experience but hiked it December 26 with sweatshirts in the rain; lots of dog prints and wear of trail indicates significant use - I was hoping the power of winter water would be increasingly evident and was not disappointed; mixed forest, lots of wintergreen that made the kids happy, excited to come back in the warmer months to see the changes. This is not a handicapped accessible trail and someone with health conditions should recognize the length of time it takes to get out and back and consider safety precautions but it is a lovely Monadnock Region Hike"

"Quick hike to a pond with a man-made dam at one end. Pretty, but not very ‘natural’."

"A nice little hike. Some confusion as to where the trailhead was. I selected easy only because the part we were on was very easy. And we did out and back. But the trail did continue."

"Cool trail through the woods leading to a dam. Small parking lot on Brown Road; drive slow, it is a dirt road and put a pin on the Google maps location to find the little parking area. Follow the white trail markers to the How Reservoir dam. The trail goes down a hill and over a cool wooden bridge and connects to the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway. Looks like there was some kind of construction project going on when I visited, but still worth it!"
