"Breathtakingly mesmerizing!!! Massive area. Vivid green landscape and beautiful lake waters!! Very helpful people and kind park rangers. Calm and great way to spend time with your family and friends. Many things to do and see. Very clean areas. Priceless time's."
"Gorgeous place, I was the only person on the beach and the hike on a Thursday morning! Water was warm but no lifeguard present. Definitely recommend!"
"Beautiful state park beach to come visit during the summer. Just make sure to reserve spots online during busy weeks. Otherwise, you will get turned away. We always bring our boat and beach it at the state park. Great day trip getaway."
"Have been going here my whole life, and it is still a great place to be on a hot day. While some of the facilities (bathrooms) leave something to be desired, the long stretch of sandy lake beach is the best in the area. You'll probably come across some ducks and occasional wildlife, but the water and sand are clean. Pack what you want for the day and remember it's carry in-carry out!"
"Wellington State park has one of the most stunning views due to its clean lake. We group of friends spent hours in the lake and went for hiking to the nearby mountains where we experienced the most scenic points around the water. The pictures attached show the real beauty of this place. Highly recommended"
