"The campsites were open and level, and not too close together. There was a river on one side that is very pretty. The staff was ok but not attentive, and the showers and bathrooms were closed since covid with no plans to reopen them. That seems unusual as bathrooms and showers are pretty much standard amenities at a campground. It's not as if you're boondocking. There are full hookups, so you can shower and use the toilet in the rig and dump and refill your water before you leave. But it's still strange not to have access to the facilities that are there."
"Great campsite! I love that I can bring my dog and it's always really nice this time of year because the leaves are changing! The fall Halloween party is always wonderful! Highly recommend this place I try and come here every year!"
"We stayed 4 nights in September (which we booked in January). The campground was exactly as advertised. We had a wonderful back in site along the river. It was quiet and peaceful! The grounds were very well kept up. It was a great location to take day trips from. I wish we could have extended for a day or 2 but they were booked up. We specifically booked this campground because of the location being so close to Dog Mountain. If you have dogs you will want to visit there. It's just 2 miles from the campground. The owners were so nice and friendly and helpful. We traveled in a41 ft class A. It was awesome being in a family run campground. We really hope we can return. Here are the few negatives (which did not warrant reducing starts in any way but more of an FYI) 1. 30 AMP power along the river. No 50 amp available, but worth being in the river in our opinion 2. We were a little confused as to where the dogs were allowed to do their business in the evenings. The dog park closes at 7, and there were rules about no dogs in the garden areas - which seemed to be all the grassy areas. We managed getting them to go in the car parking grass areas but we're unclear if there might be other areas they were allowed 3. Our spot was too short to park our car on site but there seemed to be plenty of parking very close to our site."
"We did not stay here but we did visit to see the sites and it is very nice and clean. It is along the river so you can hear the river running very peaceful and they have chairs at the common area to be able to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. We hope to be able to stay here when in the are again"
"Gary and Mary run an efficient campground. The park is small, which allows you to enjoy the area. We stayed in a very large pull-thru site. The site was next to the Pavillion and large community fire pit. They provided live music and pot lucks twice during our one month stay. The park is well maintained and is easy to navigate. They offer a small laundry room, dog play area, and general store. The owners are both very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lastly, let me say the grounds were very beautiful and immaculate. Stay here, and you, too, will enjoy your camping experience!"
