"Such a beautiful trail maintained through the winter for snowmobile use. I've seen horses during the spring, summer and fall. The trail is nice and flat and easy to follow. In my opinion, it is one of my top two views of the Presidential Mountain Range. Please make sure 1)When you hear and see a snowmobile, your group must all go to the same side of the trail, leaving enough room for sleds to get by. 2)Adjacent to Cherry Pond there is railroad track. During the winter there is no train activity. I cannot remember ever seeing a train while I was there, however, it is in your best interest to check the rail line and service maps prior to your visit. Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge and the Audubon Area are lovely. As with any other park or trail, pack your trash out and make sure you leave no trace."

"Beautiful trail... steady climb to the top and a beautiful lake. The day I climbed, it was cold and wet. The lake was covered with mist and looked absolutely stunning.. The trail can be completed (in and out) in about 3-4 hrs. Plus, the trail is on the scenic highway perfect for seeing the fall foliage."
