"Love colonial pharmacy that's so courteous. It's so clean. The stores are easy to find stuff in and they always have a regular cool hand made Christmas ornaments and Christmas decorations. I absolutely love New London. I recommend to everybody at least checking it out. Even if you don't need anything at the pharmacy, just go see all the cool handmaid products that they have from people all over Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine is absolutely beautiful and cool. Really cool to see that stuff at stores."
"If you’re looking for New Hampshire gifts to take home or decorate your own home with authentic homemade items the Colonial Pharmacy is where I’d recommend grabbing them."
"Unfortunately we have had consistently subpar service. We avoid Colonial Pharmacy whenever necessary, which is unfortunate because it is very conveniently located and we try to support small businesses instead of chains (like CVS or RiteAid). I should not feel like a burden or less of a person for submitting a prescription."
"Yesterday Colonial Pharmacy was very busy. I witnessed a short haired female pharmacy employee complain loudly about wanting to go home and how she didn’t like how busy it was and how she was supposed to have left a half hour ago. Shortly thereafter I witnessed the same employee rudely raise her voice to an elderly woman. My jaw hit the floor. I couldn’t believe the level of unprofessionalism I was witnessing. As long as I continue to see that employee behind the counter I will be taking my business elsewhere."
"I LOVE shopping here! I recommend shopping here but absolutely not filling prescriptions here. I was in a pinch, having to call around to find a medication due to supply issues. I called around 2pm and was confirmed on 10/27 by phone that they could and would fill the medication and it would be ready by 4pm on 10/27. Great! My saving grace! …I thought I figured this morning I’d pick up groceries and head over. Well, I got notification this morning (10/28) that the med was filled elsewhere. I called Colonial Pharmacy to be sure it wasn’t a mistake, because I was confused. I had already called on 10/27 and was told the med would be filled at their location! When I called I was met with a person telling me this med could not be filled as it had been filled elsewhere. I expressed my confusion because the person I spoke to yesterday told me that it was all set! Again, I was met with the reason for their being unable to fill it. I wasn’t offered any advice or help. This is what I would expect from a big chain maybe, but I was so disappointed that a small town pharmacy didn’t communicate the change to me. I spoke to another pharmacy locally who was really helpful and kind despite not being able to fill the medication. I realize that med shortages are not the fault of the pharmacies or doctors, and I’m sure that there’s stress associated with that for pharmacies right now… kindness and communication were the difference between these 2 locations. It’s pretty frustrating that yesterday I was told it would be all set for pick up within 2 hours, and today… it’s not filled and “even if we could, we don’t have enough supply to fill the whole thing.” If it was simply missed when they went to fill it on their end due to overwhelm, a simple apology or a little empathy could have gone a long way. I’m less frustrated by the situation itself than the attitude I was met with when I called to ask about it. One person telling me it’s all set, and another behaving like it’s not their problem and I’m bothering them… so so disappointed."
