"This restaurant is a hidden gem in VT! It is honestly the best Indian food I’ve ever had - you can tell all of the ingredients are fresh and that every dish is homemade. The vegetables samosas are insaneee and so worth it for only $3?!"
"I have been recommending this place to everyone I know. I moved out here from Los Angeles and this place easily rivals the best indian restaurants I tried in LA. It’s amazing! You can really taste that the food is homemade with love and care. Plus, the people who run it are so kind that I would support their business even if the food wasn’t as good as it is. I can particularly recommend the lamb korma and the chicken tikka masala. The chicken and lamb were soooo tender and the sauces were incredibly flavorful! Note that this is takeout only."
"I’ve lived in 3 cities with all amazing Indian food and I was worried about moving to a rural place oversaturated with pizza and pancakes. This is some of the best I’ve had, and I am so thankful they are nearby. I had 4 different curries and all were incredible. Thank you for being here!!"
"For the record, the food is DELICIOUS. I would have rated it a 5 minus one thing. I ordered a lamb stuffed naan. There was no lamb. It was delicious, yes, but there was no cilantro, no lamb, no anything in it. It was as if they smothered it in the juice of the lamb. I looked! It was so disappointing to pay for something and not receive what was paid for per the menu. The words were "stuffed" not dipped or basted. That said, the food- aside from the above fact- was worth it, the wait was short for the amount I ordered. As this was my first time eating food from here, I ordered simple things to get a feel for the place. Naan, kheema naan, veggie samosa, chicken samosa, rice, mango chutney. Oh, the mango chutney had a strong apple cider vinegar taste and smell. Very different than I am used to. I will not order that again, but the other sauces they provide as part of every order I assume...oh my goodness, FANTASTIC. Spice, flavor, taste- all perfectly balanced and wonderful. Fyi, if you have not been here before, be aware, it is the yellow house that looks like a residence, across the street from the Toyota dealership."
"For apps, we took paneer pakora and liked it. Tried a variety of chicken entrees, so coming to that - the basic chicken curry is amazing and hits close to home. The chicken korma tasted pretty good, but lacked salt. The saag chicken was decent too. For the mango chicken, the opinion was divided - people who really like sweet curries wouldn't mind it, but it can get a lil bit too sweet for some poeple. Not rating the atmosphere since it's strictly take out only."
