"After several years of periodontal disease, I'd become discouraged by my condition. Part of this was due to the bedside manner of previous periodontists. My oral care at home is impeccable, but due to a glandular issue, my two lower front teeth are in rough shape. "My daughter’s tooth became infected and due to her rare complex medical needs it was recommended that she urgently get the tooth pulled because it was very dangerous for her. She called all over in and out of state for weeks to oral surgeons, hospitals, dentists and no one was willing to help her even though leaving the tooth in risked sepsis. She was on antibiotics but the infection was still not resolving and she was in a great deal of discomfort and very concerned that we would not be able to find anyone even with her doctors desperately trying themselves too. She tried the office of an endodontist and they told her to call Monadnock Perio & Implant because they had heard wonderful things about Dr. Kwon and him helping people extract their teeth. She hung up and immediately called and informed the staff of her situation and they talked to Dr. Kwon on this same call and he graciously agreed to help right away and booked her for the very next day. We arrived the next afternoon eager for the infected tooth to be gone and get her out of danger. We were not prepared for the outstanding level of care and compassion she received. Dr. Kwon and staff made sure that she was comfortable both with a completely numb tooth and with all of her complex needs put above their own comfort and they did the procedure standing without tilting the chair back. This allowed her to be completely functional and in so much less pain then any other dental procedure she has ever had. We could not believe the level of amazing care that she received from Dr. Kwon and everyone of the staff that we interacted with. Dr. Kwon has graciously agreed to help her out with some other teeth and we are so very thankful and will see him for everything that he can do.
