"Great people, great place."
"If I could give this dentist 0 stars I absolutely would. He practices under the umbrella of discrimination and bias; he seems to assume that EVERY new patient coming in with mouth pain is a drug seeker, even when he can clearly see in the imaging, severe infection in 6+ teeth in a woman over 60. He then says that tylenol-3s and antibiotics should help (obviously the teeth need to be pulled too but that will require sedation which he can't provide and a referral was made- all good on that front). 5 days pass and the patient calls stating the pain is still severe, the pain meds have run out and didn't provide much relief and the antibiotics do not seem to be working as well as they had hoped they would as she is still puking frequently; he then LAUGHS when the patient states she has a severe phobia of dentists and is in need of help to at least get the pain and infection under control better and tells her that he "won't do anything more for her". She hangs up out of frustration and sheer disbelief that he would be so callous and rude. He then proceeds to tells me (her daughter- I called upon arriving to make sure my mother was able to get help as she has been vomiting from severe pain and infection since the 10th!) to "FORCE HER" to go get her teeth pulled despite her phobia requiring more delicate and compassionate care. What type of unethical and immoral behavior is that? I initially called to see if a stronger antibiotic could be procured as the worry of sepsis was becoming very legitimate and requires immediate attention. He refuses and states that "it probably won't help at this point...the teeth just need to come out ... it's just a toothache", then explains how he has to deal with "patients I've never seen before, all with mouth pain and guess what they all want? Opiates!", and continues by telling me tylenol with codeine is for moderate-severe pain (when it is repeatedly reported to clearly be indicated in the treatment and management of MILD-moderate pain. Kinda scary he honestly didn't know that!). He laughed when he said she had a toothache while in the same breath explaining how she has several severely infected teeth that need to be removed- it was appalling. I tell him I absolutely will not FORCE her to go to the dentist and how dare he suggest it, that he saw the imaging and clearly she is not coming to him without cause or solely for pain medications. That for her to even go to him took serious amounts of pain, lasting for many consecutive days before she even CONSIDERED it. I explained that he was wrong about the strength of pain medication he prescribed, that he should do some checking of his own, and that his lack of compassion was disgusting and downright unethical at this point. That treating solely based on bias and under managing pain was working below the standard of care required in more severe cases and that I hope he reconsiders his bedside manner before returning to work on Monday; I wished him a good weekend and hung up. He refuses to treat patients on a case by case basis, solely treats by bvb bias rather then what the condition actually calls for, and is callous and rude- laughing when patients are describing severe pain and phobias."
