Taftsville Covered Bridge

"It really is a beautiful bridge and surrounding area but be aware there is no public parking area. You'll have to pull off the road to the side to get out. That said, once you do, it's a gorgeous location where you can walk down to the river below to take in the local scenery."

"This is one of the most accessible and well maintained covered bridges. It's just on the edge of town so you can stop to shop and eat. There's limited parking at a park next to the stream so bring a sandwich, chair and a book and enjoy the view!"

"Our group stopped at over a dozen covered bridges during our time in New England and this was our favorite. The red paint and nearby dam make for some great photo ops. Wander onto the rocks below the bridge for some of the best angles."
