"Have had the pleasure of staying in the camp cabins during the off-season, while enjoying nearby skiing at Cannon Mountain and snowshoeing right from the camp. Cabins offer a rustic charm with beautiful views of the White Mountains. Full kitchen facilities are available in the nearby dining hall. Copper Cannon is a perfect setting to unplug and enjoy what nature has to offer."
"The Camp is a fine local institution providing an excellent tuition-free sleep away camp experience for underprivileged children."
"I traveled here from the UK to work 4 summers. Being a camp counselor is incredibly challenging I would not change the experience for the world. This camp has such a great ethos, its reflected in every aspect. If you have the option to send your kids or teens here I highly recommend it, the same if you are lucky enough to be employed here."
"Great camp serving inner city youth. My son had an excellent week this season. Packed with activities. Staff was welcoming and trained well. If you get the chance, go."
"One of my daughters best friends just returned from a week long stay and didn't have the best experience. It was her first time with this camp too!!! She was told to do certain chores everyday....like scrub the toilet... Normal chores like keeping ones room tidey and helping to clean up after meals and a activities is one thing. I wouldn't make my children clean the toilet in someone else's house or after school program! That's just gross!!! I'm disappointed for her, as she was so excited for months!! The counselors she had, used in appropriate language for being around children. It's very frustrating to hear this as a single mom and educater."
