Balloons Over New England

"My wife and I had wonderful balloon ride. The gondola is rated for I think 12 people, but they would be cheek by jowl if that many people actually showed up. The staff was very nice, and the pilot was astounding, guiding the balloon's course using nothing more than his intimate knowledge of the local air currents. That said, the ride is pricey, and the last-ditch effort at the end of the ride to squeeze a few more bucks out of the passengers with a low-rent champagne toast and photo offering was kinda kitchzy. Given how expensive the ride is, they should just bite the bullet, raise the price another $100, and offer a nice picnic at the end of the flight."

"My wife and I always wanted to take a hot air balloon ride. Are expectations were met 100 fold. Chris, our pilot and operator, was fantastic. He was a skilled and experienced balloonist. Our ride was truly breathtaking as we saw the beauty of Vermont's gorges and rolling hills from a bird's eye view. We even caught an unsuspected view of some wildlife below. The whole experience from watching the balloon being inflated to gently landing in a lush green field was incredible. This is a must for anyone who wants to have a greater appreciation for life itself. It was worth every penny."
