"I used this law firm back in 2020. The lawyer I had was Theresa. Theresa is very easily persuaded, intimidated and unprofessional by/ with the other party. She is absolutely not the one to retain for family law if you are dealing with a difficult high complex family situation with any type of abuse involved. I did have a final order verdict, the judge did end up choosing most of his parenting plan however, after a year a contempt of court has had to be filed as he has not been able to follow any order from that parenting plan since it was established and my daughter is currently living in a garage (yes a garage) 50 percent of the time when with the other parent. Obtaining a lawyer who believes you, fights for you and your child’s safety, wellbeing etc is everything. I do not believe Theresa’s intentions are pure or in the best interest of the child. And I do believe if she had been more diligent we would not be in this situation a year later. She let many illegal practices from the other party go unmentioned/ unnoticed including a very significant conflict of interest where his lawyers were clients at my workplace etc. After Theresa resigned as my representation my daughter was dismissed early from school and kidnapped on four separate occasions and a significant amount of other irreparable actions had occurred. This has been an astonishingly long process. I feel like I have made much more progress and cleared more light at the end of the tunnel than Theresa ever did with her “law degree”. Sometimes playing the neutral ground does not work and the objective is to create a plan that keeps you out of court that is safe and in the best interest of the child and that is not a goal that she could obtain. I feel like Theresa really lacked and let the ball drop entirely to often."
