"Loved our stay. Was here for a week. Front desk was so nice and helpful. We enjoyed our rainy night sitting in the lodge playing scrabble and eating pizza. The pool was heated and a nice way to unwind from hiking at the end of the day."
"Ski resort that stays open all year. The bar is closes i the off season which is when we usually go there. A little dated but over all a decent place with a nice staff."
"All I can say is, if you love VT, you will love staying here. Clean, quite, resources available for the area. Front desk always available. Dinner, drinks, nightlife (during winter peak) all around the corner. Outdoor heated pool was dope. They are super chill about you bringing cocktails to the pool. Rooms are spacious and clean. Cant wait to go back."
"It's a decent place. Friendly, helpful staff. Could use some use some sprucing up."
"I received a special offer from Northstar as a result of a local fair giveaway entry. This offer included 'free gifts' if you went to their office near Killington to listen to their sales pitch. The sales person was very nice, but the time share and gifts were a joke. The promotional material stated that the gifts were four round trip airline tickets to any of 34 destinations, a 2 night stay at various U.S. hotels, a 100 dollar dining certificate, a $25 visa card, and a 7 inch android tablet. What we actually received was a voucher for most of these things with fine print. The air fare requires a minimum night stay of between 8 and 14 days at specified hotels booked through first priority travel for full list price. The 2 night stay requires you to pay all taxes and fees with a minimum deposit due at booking. The dining certificate is actually buy one get one style coupons. The android tablet is a three year old model that requires you to fill out a voucher form to obtain it. At the end of the sales pitch they offer you a one time offer to buy a timeshare financed at an interest rate of 17%. All in all, the so called gifts amounted to a $25 gift card and a bunch of pamphlets for deals we could have easily found on the internet. This bait is the only way that Northstar can coax people in the door to look at an out of date and over priced time share. Beware of their so called gifts, it is a waste of your time."
