Reviews of Beefside
"Awesome little spot, was up here for work and decided to stop in. Glad we did! The French dip sandwich was amazing, excellent bread( some of the best French bread I’ve had). Roast beef was cooked well and the dip paired nicely"
"Hands down the BEST roast beef sandwich I've ever had. The onion rings are very good and a great portion for the price! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit again!"
"I recently had the pleasure (or should I say displeasure) of takeout at Beefside, and let's just say it was an unforgettable experience. I ordered the brisket dinner, while my wife went for the "ultimate" chicken option. Now, the brisket tasted like it had been sitting in a time capsule for a decade. Its color was off, and it had this peculiar vinegar tang that made me question the chef's sanity. I shared a bite with my wife, and she too was convinced that something was terribly amiss. To be honest, after a few bites, I decided to play it safe and chucked my brisket in the trash. It was, without a doubt, the worst brisket I've ever had – it tasted so sour, it could've been auditioning for a reality show. But the real gem of the evening was the "ultimate" chicken. I'd rename it the "Constipation Curer." This culinary masterpiece was a bland, basic chicken sub filled with more cheese and veggies than chicken. After a couple of bites, I started to miss the questionable brisket, which is saying something. My wife soldiered on, bless her heart, and the next day she was rewarded with an unexpected bout of food poisoning. I have a hunch that the endoscopy nurse had to call out sick after indulging in that sub. I used to be a regular here three years ago, but I've sworn off Beefside for good. The food was a disaster, and the service was equally concerning. When I entered to pick up my order, I overheard the cooks reminiscing about their days of pulling a George Costanza – you know, not showing up for work and then waltzing in like nothing happened. I couldn't help but wonder if they were treating the kitchen like a Seinfeld episode, and that's not exactly the kind of behind-the-scenes drama I want to encounter at a restaurant. So, to sum it up, if you're looking for a unique experience that involves dodgy brisket, a "Constipation Curer" chicken sub, and a front-row seat to kitchen shenanigans, Beefside is your place. As for me, I'm bidding this establishment adieu and praying for better dining adventures in the future."
"I am staying in Concord for the Academy and this place was one of the recommended places from New Hampshire eats. I had to stop in and try it. Ordered their house brewed unsweetened tea, the BBQ brisket sandwich for here, and a colossal Roast beef sandwich for tomorrows lunch. This place was very good and decently priced. Friendly staff and a home style restaurant feel"
"A friend recommended this place to meet for lunch, and it did not disappoint. We all ordered something different. I had the beef dip, which was wonderful. I got the small size and it was huge. Another friend ordered the fish and chips. The other friend got a turkey sandwich on a roll and fried mushrooms. The turkey sandwich was made with real roast turkey, not processed turkey. We all enjoyed our food immensely. Service was also excellent."
