"A good variety, quite well organized and presented. The bakery is lovely, with lots to choose from, and the meat selection has never been bad. The prices can be a tad high if you don't take advantage of sales, and those may not apply to everything you need. The self check-outs are good, but I do find it a little embarrassing that the machines loudly declare the price of the items you scan one at a time."

"I am a resident of Springfield..l go there for convenience only.. They really stick it to you on prices having no competition close by..l go elsewhere if l need to shop.. Thank you Shaws for taking advantage of a small town..Staff is really friendly and store is clean...l paid almost 12 dollars a pound on sandwich meat and it went bad in 4 days... Thanks but no thanks"

"Though Springfield at times resembles a 3rd world country, it's a shame that their only supermarket works hard to keep up appearances. Way too expensive and almost never properly stocked. I realize that keeping employees is difficult, and that we've been experiencing supply chain issues. But I'm in supermarkets all day for work and I've yet to see anything that comes close. It's truly shameful and the people deserve better."
