Reviews of Natural Provisions
"Worst experience at a store ever one not only got sandwiches mixed up as far as things that were placed on the sandwiches was followed through the store by the owner even though it was obvious that I was paying for the items that I had and insinuating the entire visit there that I was basically going to steal something from a shop the employees are more focused on their headphones than actually catering to the needs of the customers and the presumptions of how people want their sandwiches prepared is astronomically uncalled for the trip to the store that was made will probably be my last worst storm trip I've ever had"
"Excellent choices of a lot of items. Deli sandwiches are awesome. Good eats. 100% better than Subway"
"They've got some really great stuff you can't find anywhere else, really well stocked. And some really meh stuff you can't imagine anyone buying. Great place to go, good sushi, lots of flours and herbs and such. Good freezer section (mochis and ice cream things!)"
"As a storefront I feel this place has a lot of potential that is being encumbered by the people who work here. They made it obvious that they were waiting for me to try to steal something because they watched me the whole time. I should have walked out for being treated like some sort of undesirable. No one greeted me when I walk in. The staff look at me suspiciously but I make my way to the deli anyway. I stand there at the deli counter looking at the menu for literally 3 or 4 minutes while the bearded guy behind ignores me. He says literally not a word, so I go. The lady behind me approaches and he immediately greets her and takes her order. I grab a cliff bar, pay for it which I am sure shocked them, and leave. I was in that store for 10 minutes and I swear that literally the only thing said to me was: "$5.18". No please, no thank you, no words were spoken to me, just numbers to indicate their demand. What a shame, there is such a vital need for the community to be able to access non-GMO and organic foods. But the people who work here have made their self appointed elitism and distain for the average person very clear. I tried 3 times now to be a customer here. I won't be trying again."
"I used to love natural provisions. I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Unfortunately in recent months and since they lost a certain staff remember, their deli has gone down hill. Their lunch offerings used to be so diverse and really branched away from typical American food. They always had gf options, lots of vegetables and the food was exciting. Now I feel like it’s become run of the mill cafeteria food and their to-go deli section is really disappointing and the quality has declined (don’t even get me started on those new gf chicken fingers and the loss of the eat more kale salad). I know it’s hard to lose creativity in the kitchen and maybe the dishes you used to offer left with the cook, but it’s quite the let down. Most times I go in I leave empty handed. Even the produce section has dwindled. I know it’s hard times but I do think they’ve lost their spark. I will continue to try but I’m worried that they will loose their footing as st J grows. The grocery section is still a life saver but 70% of my business was the deli."
