"Not great communication and poor attention to detail. I repeatedly had to call about my truck over the course of three weeks, always got nebulous answers, and it was a simple 1 day job. I also believe the mechanic used an impact gun on my wheel lug nuts, as they were way over torqued and I broke wheel studs trying to remove them a few months later. An ok shop, but won't be going back due to the poor communication and lack of attention to detail (or just attention to torque specs)."

"Full transparency... went for an inspection sticker and was rejected due to dark window tint. Tint applied should have been legal, but it seems as though stock front windows had a light tint in glass, causing it to be darker than allowable. It was a totally reasonable rejection in accordance with the law which I understand. What I was not ok with was the treatment of my new vehicle prior to inspection, lack of communication, no one mentioning a thing about rejection, and just letting me walk out with saying anything until I asked. I was bothered by a few things prior to and after the inspection. The mechanic who took my car around back to be inspected was filthy. His hands and clothes were covered in dirt, oil or whatever mess he was dealing with that day. I understand its not necessarily a "clean" work environment, but I've seen several mechanics across various shops put paper floor mats down and wear gloves when getting into a customer vehicle. Then this guy gets in my car and books it out of the spot reakly fast. Not how someone should drive a customers car especially in an extremly congested parking lot with tons of potholes, gravel, sand and road debris everywhere. When I went to get back into the car, I noticed grease/oil stains and fingerprints on the door handle, outside door frame, steering wheel, and seat. It's just plain lazy, sloppy, and gross. I removed the front window tint then went back to get it reinspected but the woman at the desk couldnt possibly have been more rude, seemed annoyed and said I would have to wait "over an hour" and laughed at me when I brought up concerns about how he drove my vehicle and the grease/oil figerprint marks on it. After standing there somewhat surprised and how she was talking to me, I decided it was best to go elsewhere. Kudos to Auto Clinic in Pepperell for doing what most shops do but LAS couldnt. Guess what...the mechanic at Auto Clinic came out with gloves and put down a paper floor mat without me even mentioning my concerns coming from LAS. Simple and somewhat standard practice at most inspections shops who care amd take pride in their work. I was willing to pay the inspection fee all over again (eventhough I didnt have to if I just went back to LAS) for the reinspection I already paid for with them just to avoid the poor service, lack of attention to detail, and zero communication/customer service skills. Perhaps LAS specializes in trucks and commercial vehicles, and maybe they do a great job in that area?... But my experience was not that and I'm certain that customer service, cleanliness and pride were not their priority for me as their customer."
