The Oliver Lodge

"We had an amazing king weekend at Oliver Lodge, we stayed in the North Wing. It's a beautiful place for a quiet winter getaway. We saw blad eagles flying across the river and diving for food, we saw a flock of common merganser out on the water, we saw a mink hanging by the shoreline and found its tacks all over the property. We didn't see otters, but the manager let us know they are out there, so hopefully next time. We did get hit with a snow stor, and were fortunate no one else was checking in, so they were able to accommodate us for an extra night to wait out the storm. They made sure we had lanterns if we lost power and made sure we knew how to flush the toilets in an outage. Denise was amazing at making sure we had everything we needed, and if we had any problems, she was ready and willing to help as quickly as possible. She was also full of information about what was nearby for shopping or things to do. It was really just a great time, and I honestly hope to go back soon."

"Rented the A frame house and we had our own private island with incredible views, crystal clear water 77degrees, and peaceful relaxation. Denise, the property manager, made sure we were well tended to all week. Incredible summer vacation spot! Just incredible."

"We just had our wedding there and all of our guests had a wonderful time. There are a lot of activities you can do and the lodge is incredible. Denise was a lovely host and it was great to talk to her. This place will remain in our heart forever and we will definitely come back."

"Love it! Great accommodations right on the lake. Great views! Close to grocery store and restaurants. Owners are fantastic and are around to make sure you have everything you need. Main lodge has a pool table, foosball table, gas fireplace and is perfect for large families or groups! We come here every year for a guys weekend. Would not want to go anywhere else!"

"What a charming lodge! Clean and cozy and plenty of room for our whole wedding party to stay. A little far out of town but that is part of the charm. Beautiful Lake views! The owner helped us set up a bonfire next to the water. There are also kayaks and canoes and paddle boats available for use."
