"First time at pats peak with a group of friends. Group sales were very helpful and they gave us the prices and everything, plain and straightforward. Very easy to get a group trip here unlike some other places, that didn’t have prices easily accessible and clear. They are much more organized, but they are lacking in the perks one would get for going here compared to other places. This is a cheaper option and has more trails than other mountains for groups. The lounge area was packed, so definitely go early to get a small room or book a room in advance. Food was very expensive compared to other places, and the lifts were very slow moving. The mountain scenery was very pretty, but they definitely need to up their game. The place was huge, so you had to walk a while to be able to go to group sales, to get rental equipment etc. At least it’s not hard to find or miss. The staff were all very helpful and professional. Would definitely come again as a group! A lot of the trails were not open when we went, but it was still really fun to go."
"Pats peak seems to be great for beginners. There are decent trails for intermediate runs but they all slow down too much towards the end. It’s a quick drive up from Boston and is on Indy pass which makes it worth a weekend try. Also good for taking lessons. Small ski area, hence no stress of parking or waiting in huge lines. Overall, a decent one."
"I just love it here. I grew up taking lessons and learning to ski at Pat’s Peak. Haven’t been back in quite a few years until last year and again this year. I was so excited that they still had the giant m&m cookies. They really offer everything— beginner to advanced trails, terrain parks, tubing, And my favorite, evening hours!! It’s about 2hrs from my home in MA but is the perfect “day trip” mountain for me. i’ll likely buy a season pass next year when I am finished with school and have more time."
"This place has always been good but this year they are better than ever. They covered the mountain with snow so fast and it was good and survived all the rain, then in a day and a half doubled the snow cover. The food which has always been good improves every year. Everything is fantastic, better than many local restaurants, from the salads and sandwiches to the burgers, which they have now have lettuce, tomato and pickles available this year, I’m never board and always pleased. The soups, stew and chili are top notch as well. The staff is GREAT and always helpful, they recognize you, help in all sorts of ways( there’s always someone around to assist when I need it, and with kids I often need it). They improve in ways you often didn’t even know they needed to improve, always striving to be the best, and in my opinion, achieving that goal!"
"I had a (2) Hour Private Lesson yesterday with John. I have not Snowboarded in a few years and he had me doing J-Turns by my third run. Most importantly- he taught me how to STOP and have board control which makes it much safer for everyone on the Mountain. He was patient, attentive, professional and extremely helpful and I’m safe to say the lesson was a great investment. I ended up going today as well because of the confidence I gained from John. He is an asset to Pats Peak. What a great time. A+ for red beard John and A+ for Pats Peak. Ty for a great weekend!"
