"My wife and I had a lovely time at the Sugar Hill Inn. It's in a tranquil spot in the middle of the White Mountains, far enough "away from it all," but close enough to restaurants and the town of Littleton, which is a must-visit. The food and service at the Inn’s own restaurant is phenomenal, and we are so glad we made dinner reservations in addition to our daily breakfasts. Everything was delicious! The accommodations are cozy, even though they do show their age a bit. We stayed in the Wildflower room, which was nice, but we could clearly hear those staying in the room next to us. Fortunately, the room has a Bose speaker which we used to drown out those sounds. Overall, though, we felt that the staff and owner went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay, which we certainly did."

"Just checked out a day ahead of time, debating driving back to MA today, or checking in at the best western up the street. We are sleep deprived after trying to stay at this spot. My wife and I came up to spend a romantic weekend by a fire in late autumn, our last opportunity to get away before our baby is due. The building and location looked great, but the fireplace in our room did not work , the bed was uncomfortable, and we slept poorly. The bartender who was there was sincere and nice and tried to help with the fire when we complained, but it seemed like during this long weekend there was no one with the ability or authority to help us. We checked out a day early and no one at the desk seemed concerned that we'd had a bad time. They refunded the night we decided not to stay for. We stayed in the Moses Aldrich room. The owner kindly made room for me at a charging station when I arrived, so I could charge up my car. That's a nice amenity."

"We stayed 3 nights in the Peckett Suite at Sugar Hill Inn and it was wonderful. The Inn is very charming and located close to a food market and restaurants with easy access to the highway that takes you to all the sites / hikes/ leaf-peeping routes. I would absolutely stay here again if we return to NH….. but the thing that sets this Inn apart is THE FOOD. The breakfasts are varied and delicious, the dinners were incredible and the SERVICE was outstanding. Jan, Destiny, Hope and another terrific server whose name I sadly didn’t get were all the most friendly, efficient and lovely staff we’ve had in a long time. My hubby is a pilot so we travel quite often and the staff at this place make it so memorable and incredible . You will be grateful you stayed here."

"My husband and I stayed at Sugar Hill for one night in the Dream Cabin. We were greeted warmly and offered a cocktail upon arrival. We entered our cabin and found it to be a bit more dated than the website photos elude to, but it was still very charming, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. We made good use of the sauna and HUGE spa tub! We went to happy hour at the bar and asked the lovely bartender, Hope, if there were any options for snacks since the dining service is closed on Sundays. We said, “maybe cheese and crackers or something” to which Chef Collin said, “I got you” and returned 15mins later with THE BEST quesabirria tacos we’ve ever had and we’re from Tampa! It was so unexpected that he’d whip us up something so delicious when we were expecting basic bar snacks. 10/10 would stay there again JUST for Collin to cook for us. We slept so well and arrived for their beautiful breakfast service where everything was equally delicious. 10/10 would stay at Sugar Hill, again."

"After staying at several Select Registry inns this one was disappointing. The room was not up to the quality I expected. We never met or saw the innkeepers. Everything was adequate but not quite up to the select registry standards I have experienced at other inns. Maybe the cottages are different than the rooms in the house. The breakfasts were delicious though and the service in the dining room was great. I appreciated the chef accommodating my gluten free requests and my husband said the baked good were so good!"
