"Such a cool station! Has snacks, souvineer t-shirts, hats, and other things. Also a train stops here a few days a week which is cool. A GREAT train ride from North Conway! Definetly worth a trip! Good hiking in the area, plenty of parking and beautiful views! Easy to access and spend time here. There is also a lake with fishing and places to see the sights. Flowers are everywhere in season."

"The ride itself is worth a bucket list check, especially in good weather or in the fall color season. The open air car is great, but if you prefer air-conditioning, the smaller car with the TV feed is as icy as you could want. A few deficits: one of the conductor was abrupt and nearly rude when he told us not to advance further in the train past the "snack bar." There was no sign indicating no entry, so how were we to know? The onboard narration could be trimmed significantly."

"Cool history. There is a hiking and activities center at the top. Trails abound. If you don’t like any of those things or are short on time, there isn’t much else there. A major highway runs along the back half."

"Lovely little train station near a lake. We took the car and made a stop there when we came back from Kancamus highway. Its a good place to start a hike because of the parking lot."
