"This review is for the restaurant and not the hotel. The ambience in the main bar was cool and felt like a traditional New England ski town bar. The food and beer were just “okay” though. They did have outdoor snow bubbles which looked very cool as an alternative experience. The short rib Mac was probably the best of the things we ate. Bison burger and pizza was just okay. In summary, not worth a long wait, but still worth a stop for okay food in a cool environment."

"The overall place is nice, and a great atmosphere. However, be careful, when this place gets busy, the servicing waiter was scarcely available. Food took an hour getting out, and was just not tasty for the the higher price tag. Overall not horrible place"

"Didn’t start off as a great experience but hoped that would change. Rented an iglooo last night for dinner and drinks. There was confusion at the hostess stand… we arrived at 7:15, reservation was for 7:30, seated at 8, food came out around 9pm. My food (bison burger) was over cooked and dried out. The waiter offered to have another one made and said “it shouldn’t take long.” By the time it came out around 9:30, everyone else was done eating so I asked for a to-go box. Frustrating after being at their establishment for 2.5 hours and not eating. I will never ask for food to be taken off my check, but I was surprised when the full-price burger was on my bill after not being able to eat dinner with my friends, in an igloo that I paid for. Even a gesture of taking $5 off would have been an effort of goodwill. Regarding the igloo, definitely a fun experience. However, every time the waiter came in or out of the igloo, he would only zipper it halfway closed so one of us had to get up from the table every time to zipper it shut the rest of the way because the cold air was coming in. We had a party of 7, and there were 12 chairs crammed into the igloo. I asked for them to take the extra chairs out so we had some more room. The girl who seated us seemed clueless about the request. The chairs in the igloos are uncomfortable. Also, there was only 1 waiter for all 4 igloos. He was fantastic but one waiter for running food/drinks for 26 people just isn’t enough."

"First time in almost 40 years we have been disappointed. Sat in upstairs bar and were ignored for some time. Other parties came in sat got served before we even got a drink - which was the wrong drink. I came for the fish tacos since last time there they were fantastic. Besides being completely cold the slaw was extremely disappointing. Reminded me of Kentucky Fried Chicken! My husband's short rib tacos were okay but also very cold. Bartender never checked on food and I had to practically tackle him for a water. The bar was busy but certainly not packed. The other bartender on staff was writing down orders and checking in patrons, our acted like we were in his way to be honest. We have always enjoyed going here and as a matter of fact last year we went 3 times in one week because we were enjoying the food and servers so much. I also have tons of restaurant experience and am always very understanding of overwhelmed staff but this wasn't the case it was indifference at best. Very disappointing and will definitely think twice before returning due to poor service and mediocre at best tacos."

"My partner and I are locals who wanted to enjoy a meal tonight. We were seated and then promptly forgotten about. We sat for nearly 30 minutes without so much as a drink order. There was a large party next to us that got all the attention in the room. Disappointed and was hoping for much better service. We left, and the servers - who had seen us sitting for the past 30 minutes - didn't say a word as we walked out. Edit: after reaching out, we spoke to management. It seems there was some confusion as to our table placement and which server was supposed to cover our area. We understand the reason and will try this establishment again. It sucks to feel forgotten especially when you were looking forward to a night out, but it felt very nice to get a call from someone in charge explaining the reason and apologizing. Still haven't eaten the food yet but am looking forward to visiting again and giving it another go. I hear great things from my friends and other locals."
