"Great cabin in the woods! Very peaceful and quiet. The floor to ceiling window in the living room provided a stunning backdrop of the woods. We enjoyed sitting around the fire (propane stove), playing cards and chess at the dining room table, cooking up some tasty meals in the kitchen, and being in close proximity to hiking trails, Quechee gorge, the Vermont Institute of Natural Science, and other local offerings."

"We were married in Woodstock in 2013 and stayed for a week at Leave no Trace. To celebrate our tenth anniversary we decided to return. The cabin and grounds are as wonderful as we remember and Laura and Robert were very thoughtful hosts. We hope to return again!"

"Leave No Trace Cabin was the perfect home away from home. It is tucked away along a tree-lined country road surrounded by the gentle sound of the backyard stream tumbling of over the rocks, the bird song, the hummingbird's wings hovering around the feeder - a relaxing way to kick back on the covered porch with a cup of coffee and a good read. The setting provides a respite from the hurried pace of daily life yet is close enough to surrounding towns, nature trails, and quality food markets to enjoy all they have to offer. The cabin was attractively furnished with great attention to detail- good books to read, DVDs to watch, games to play and lovely watercolors to admire. The wi-fi was flawless. On a few chilly evenings we enjoyed the warmth of the gas fireplace. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bedrooms and baths comfortable. Our hosts Laura and Robert made every aspect of our trip from online reservations through our entire stay easy and efficient. They were responsive, helpful and provided very useful information about the workings of the cabin and excellent suggestions about the area. Our stay was a pleasure from start to finish. We are already planning another visit. This gem is a rare find indeed."

"Stayed at Leave No Trace cabin for a week in July 2023 with fiance and our dog , we felt welcomed from the start , Truly an outstanding experience, cozy cabin , relaxing atmosphere, comfitable beds and not to mention everything you need to stay , owner even stopped by to give us an update on the road conditions due to the rain !!!, would recommend this cabin to anyone to stay at and you wont be dissapointed , thanks for the great time !!! "This is the fourth time Paul and I have stayed at LNT and it never fails to disappoint. We love how peaceful it is, tucked away on a well groomed dirt road. There are no sounds of traffic or planes, only the sound of the running brook and breeze through the beautiful trees. Our favorite spot is sitting on the porch before dinner with a glass of wine and cheese, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. The log cabin is clean and well equipped with anything you need with gigantic windows that give you a beautiful view of the beautiful surroundings. We also enjoy the fire pit, the huge grill on the porch and all the waterfalls and covered bridges close by. Can’t wait to stay there again."
