"I've just started taking my Tacoma to Kingdom Imports and so far am very pleased with the service. One thing which especially pleased me was being asked to look under the vehicle on the lift to examine for myself a worn/failing tie rod ball joint, the two loose heat shields, a screw in one tire, and the beginnings of rust. They passed the state inspection, set up an appointment to replace the tie rod bearing, and Travis recommended a specific area business providing high-quality undercoating service. My bill was most reasonable—no higher than I expected to pay. (I believe their hourly labor rate remains lower than that of of some of their area competitors.) They totally take care of my car, but also let me know if something could go wrong in the near future. That helped me eke out 15 years from my old Honda. They are super personable. They know engines! "If you own a Eurovan camper, you know the euphemisms: "interesting," "last of its kind," "cool" — but these gloss over the real-world challenge of this vehicle's quirks, especially the air conditioning. I've had the AC worked on endlessly during the life of my 2003 Euro camper, usually to no avail (beyond a few months of operation). Kingdom knows the quirks, enjoys the challenges, and fixed mine so that it cooled me on the long road trip from Vermont home to San Diego. I think they nailed it. Time will tell, but I'm already quite pleased to have made it across a country that has a slight tendency to be hot in August!"
