"Most of the time we can find what we were looking for, and the staff are friendly.We were last there in early spring so plants were limited,but in just a few more weeks we will have tons to pick from."

"I love that Lowes always has a great selection of gardening soil, compost, and mulch. They usually have a good selection of plants too. My only issue is that they don't always take great care of their plants so you need to make sure you're buying a healthy plant. They need to water them more often. Allowing plants to dry and wilt causes stress which can lead to illness once you take it home. Also, there's NEVER anyone around to get help and when you want to ask about plants they don't have a clue. Best to bring in your cell phone to look up details."

"Lowes had NO $1 1 gallon pots. I looked everywhere and asked. The cheapest I found was 2.60 and to buy 50 of those, nope. I went to Home Depot. Took my 2 minutes to find what I was looking for"

"OK, both plants we got we bone dry. Good price on Sta-green 1 CU FT garden soil bags. Went in looking for some 2x8x10 and 1x2x8 PT and there was none...."

"They have a good selection of annuals. Some of the "perrenials" would be perrenials but not in New England. Drives me crazy that they can sell them as such. But as long as you know your zone you should be ok."
