"It's one of my kids favorite spots to hike and play. It's a perfect starter hike for little people because it's a short trip to the summit - we did short trails when they were two-years-old and worked our way up to longer adventures. The playground is always terrific motivation to keep them motivated."
"The park is great and not large. Great trails leading to wonderful views. Bring water because they warn that the water should be boiled. We were going to stay at the campground, but the water issue and lack of a dump station encouraged us to use the KOA Campground nearby instead."
"Great day spot for short hikes. We did three trails- short and pretty. Beautiful view from the summit- which you can take the shortcut up and a little longer back. Make sure to cross the street and check out trails in the campground itself."
"Sooooo….this was great! It’s busy because it’s very popular. There are several trail options. Two of them get you to the top with about a 15 minute walk. The views are lovely from the bald surface of granite. When we went in October, the leaves made the view even better. I highly recommend this. The drive to get there is lovely too."
