"We've been camping and canoeing out of River Run for >5 years and I have zero complaints about anything. The campsites are great, they sell firewood and ice on-site, the bathrooms/showers are clean, and the staff are all really friendly and you can tell they love doing what they do. Their Saco canoeing trips are amazing -- they take you in a shuttle (van) up river with some canoes/kayaks in tow, you canoe back to the campground, then they pick the canoes/kayaks up on the beach where you leave them. It couldn't be easier. If you're looking for some old school summer camp vibes, definitely consider this place for your next getaway."
"We have now gone camping there twice over the past 2 years. The campground is gorgeous and the staff provides incredible service. We had a wonderful stay again this year. But most amazingly, when my car was damaged by a stump on the property, they responded immediately and went above and beyond to help. I wholeheartedly recommend River Run campground."
