"Very rustic campground with tent spots and glamping tents only. no trailers in this Campground. it's on the Saco River so there is plenty to do, however the campground is very Sandy and Pitch falls from the trees. one person manages the campground 7 days a week, he is friendly, does a good job enforcing the rules but the women's shower room doesn't get cleaned regularly. I used it every other day while I was there for 10 days and there was tons of hair all over the shower, other peoples soap and shampoo containers everywhere and the floor was always wet."
". Lots of partying, foul language and barking dogs was our experuence. Bathrooms were dirty, hanging soap dispenser and zero towels. A total waste of money. Camp sites and river beach was night. Place need new management and so.e TLC"
"The worst campground we ever been too. The showers were horrible disgusting hair everywhere, dirty Qtips, and smells like mold,. The guy who runs the place has zero personality, not the kind of person who should be running a campground"
"Good campground on the river, and the staff is fantastic. I stayed here last year and it was quiet and peaceful - exactly what I'd think a family campground would bring. I stayed here last weekend, and wow. I wish I knew the whole story, but there was supposedly a family reunion, complete with e-bikes with bright headlights going through the campground after midnight encouraging others to come partake in their 'festivities', and a full on live band that clearly wasn't welcome. To the campground owner's credit, he seemed to be doing the best he could to get them kicked out, and with help of the police, eventually did shut down the incredibly loud music, but there was definitely a feeling of rowdiness and sketchy behavior from a large part of the campground. I'm hoping this was a one-off, and would encourage the owners to be even more proactive at keeping those shenanigans out of their campground. Overall a positive experience!"
"Great place to camp I'm sure, but we used it as a put out spot when tubing down the Saco from Swan Falls Campground. With stops it was about a 5 hour tube ride. Best day of our whole vacation."
