"Store was great. Employees not so much. Three people working on a Monday afternoon and not one greeted me as I entered the store or acknowledged me at any time while I was in the store."

"Paper store is always fun to explore. First time in the Westbrook one. Beautiful and very open. Staff was talking about other staff and not very professional at all."

"We’ve always loved The Paper Store. Usually we go to the mall, but in this occasion we went to Rock Row. Online they advertised a few Lily Pulitzer items that were on sale. The Westbrook store said they had 2 in stock. We tried to place an online order and pick it up there, but the purchase just kept being unsuccessful, so we decided to head there. When we advised about the online sale for The LP products. The manager (I believe) said “which website “, well the paper store, I responded. She grabbed the laptop cover and started discussing this with the other employees there and we could hear them as we browsed. “Is that Even the right print “, “It’s not coming up when it’s scanned”, “I don’t know… it’s up to you”. By this time I had pulled up the sale item on their website and showed her. The same lady came over to advise that they don’t usually honor the same as the online store. Even though this is where I’ve tried to purchase it from earlier for a pickup. She then proceeded to tell us several times that they are given the authority to either give or not give discounts. I asked well why wouldn’t you? Are proceeds to tell us “we are a store, and we want people to come in to shop “. I stated well not everyone is comfortable doing that during a pandemic. As if THIS had anything to do with the issue at hand!? Again she advises she has the authority to give the discount or not. It seems as though she wanted more thank a thank you for doing what any reasonable retailer would. We were then watched as we finished looking about. Like we were in some way trying to rip them off. Needless to say it was not a pleasant experience and we won’t be going back. We’ll continue to purchase LP from their website. It’s less of a hassle!!"

"Wow what a nightmare the management is here. Had some trouble with an order I had shipped to store. The poor girl at the counter had to keep apologizing because her manager's behavior towards us was completely uncalled for. Offered me 20% off my purchase for the inconvenience, but only applied it to the last item on my receipt.. A whole 1.40! I wanted to like this store, by boy, what a terrible first impression. I don't think I'll be going back to this location again."

"Beautiful arranged and stocked store That being said the associates either make or break a store and I was disappointed that the staff were not very welcoming. After spending a good half hour in the store, not once was I greeted or asked if I needed anything. And upon checkout the girl was less than friendly and walked away the moment our transaction was done without muttering more than a few words. For a store that just opened they should be greeting customers and making their visit worth it. . ."
