"I think the Nautical Rooster is top hen. Their service and most of their items are divine. I started to buy Amy Kahn Russell jewelry from them in the hopes that by buying trunk show items that I would receive a higher/better quality item. Well, yes and no depending on how you look at it. Because Amy Kahn Russell became involved with HSN, her jewelry line on HSN was so extremely different than what she normally made, that the big dollars started flashing in her head and she lost her path altogether. Her jewelry can't slide much more. She now uses brass/bronze or at least some in her pieces even trunk show pieces, which one of mine was all brass. I was shocked. Also, her pieces are all made in China with basically the same designs over and over. Her stones are no longer even handpicked. Her stock on the big market is plummeting. If you own any old AKR pieces and you don't love them, now is the time to dump/get rid of them. Her once highly-deserved wonderful line is no longer. What a darn shame. I hope Nautical Rooster can find a replacement for her and/or maybe they don't care or are just waiting to retire."
