"I went with knee pain and was diagnosed with cellulitis, given antibiotics and told that if it’s not feeling better with in 3-4 days to come back. I went home and started my regiment of antibiotics and when it wasn’t better be the end of the prescription (10 days) I decided I better go back because I read online that people can lose their leg if cellulite’s not taken care of. So now they don’t think it’s cellulitis and insist I take xrays. These show minor arthritis. They want to prescribe ibuprofen.... thanks.... I don’t need to go to a medical facility for that. Then they make me sit in my room for HOURS. I walked out to the nurses satay in on two separate occasions asking to be discharged because I have work to do as I am self employed. I ended up having to leave without my discharge papers after 4 hours because they were happy to let me sit there in an emotional state (due to the antibiotic and frustration). Horrible. They’ll mis-Diagnose you to scare you and tell you to come back when it’s a basic wear and tare issue. Then they won’t come in to release me.... I wait until after I receive a pre-collection letter.... cuz why pay right away when they misdiagnosed me and scammed me. When I go to set up a payment plan prior to collection (before the deadline, mind you) they tell me that a portion can’t be set up for payment. So now I have two bills, one of which I can’t do a plan on. Absolute scam. Don’t been get to see an ACTUAL DOCTOR and lied to and left in a gown in a room while I should be taking care of business. Don’t trust these hacks."

"Buyer Beware! Stay clear of Maine Health, Find a provider that charges reasonable prices for the services provided. $171.00 charged for a 10 minute office visit for a healthy patient!! On February 15, 2019, I had an in initial visit with Dr. Marco Cornelio at the Saco office of Maine Health to establish myself as a new patient. I was in perfect health, just had the appointment to establish a relationship and turn over my medical history documents from my prior physician. Dr. Cornelio asked me some basic health questions, and overall I spent 10 minutes with him, plus 5 minutes for a annual flu shot administered by the nurse. A month later I get the Bill, Main Health charged $171.00 for just the 10 minute office visit! This did not include the immunization which was charged at $38 dollars. I called the Billing office on March 13th at which time they told me they would look into it and call me back. They never did. I call again on April 12th and they told me the cost is what it is!"

"That they claim to be "not-for-profit" is the best joke I've heard in a long time. I'd doubt that Apple or Amazon have so many offices, buildings, and employees. Once they find out that you have decent insurance they really stick it to you and try to push every test known to mankind(and womankind). I've been charged some outrageous fees that were far above the national average...$8000 for an ambulance ride from Biddeford to Portland and $15,000(yes, $15,000) for ONE 50mg injection of Tenecteplase. Not-for-profit my arse..."

"They called me and wanted my medical information. I asked them who they were and why do they need the info. I have a doctor a dentist and the VA. Why would I use these guys for? They keep wanting me to register with them but have no actual answers as to why I should."
