"They just got a ton of new Speed queen washing machines. (Btw, they look like there is no water being dispensed, which worried me a lot at first. ut it is a lie. They are definitely dispensing lots of water, but the water is traveling UNDER all the clothes and is barely visible to the eye. It drain from back to front. It won't look like ANY water is being used, but I tried them and my clothes were definitely wet! Long story short, they work great! I don't recommend tide pods in them though. All mine got stuck in the gasket and don't dissolve. Highly recommend liquid in the Speedqueens. the other washing machines take tide pods just fine though if you use hot water :) The guy who works here is so nice and friendly and helpful. I always have a great time doing laundry here. It's very clean. They clean it every single day, twice a day. Vacuuming, wiping things down, cleaning out the gaskets, and cleaning the inside of the machines too. There is a sink, soap, and paper towels. Plenty (and I mean PLENTY) of clean wire baskets. Lots of folding tables. Multiple trash cans that are regularly changed out. Last wash is 8:30. As long as you get your clothes in to the washing machine before then, you're good. They don't have to be DONE washing at 8:30. Just started. It closes at 10pm, so make sure everything is done before then, becauss the lights turn off and door locks from the outside. Don't get locked out!!!!! Great laundromat. Only wish it had a reloadable laundry card system!!!!"

"My favorite laundromat, I live next to another and still choose the 20 minute drive to use this one. Every time I’m there I see who I’m assuming is the owner cleaning thoroughly, the machines never seem to be broken and I’ve never had to wait to use a washing machine/dryer. Only once was it busy, but it was a Sunday afternoon, I did that to myself. The machines are coin-op which seems to keep the prices low and reasonable, I once had to pay $8.75 for a regular sized load with a credit card machine (somewhere else). A cycle in the heaviest-load machine here is only $5.75. The machines also seem to be cleaned/maintenanced regularly, which gives me a lot of assurance that my clothes are actually getting clean. Will come here for as long as I live in the greater Portland area!"

"RVers dream laundromat! So clean and a wide variety and good number of machines. I like that it’s coin operated although I know some people prefer credit cards. I just feel I have more control, especially for the dryers, as I had to add some minutes not sure how long they would take to dry various loads. If you are traveling through Portland, Maine and need to do laundry, this is the place. Their parking lot was large enough to park our Winnebago View no problem!"
