Eco Cleaners

"Have taken several suits in for tailoring and had good results. However, recently got a suit back from cleaning and it was badly stained/bleached. I brought it back and was told it was not possible EcoCleaners caused the damage because they don’t use bleach. I don’t think it was from me, so I have to assume it was their cleaning, but they aren’t interested in investigating further. I will start going elsewhere."

"I brought a comforter to ECO cleaners to have it cleaned. When I picked it up and brought it home, there was a sizeable rip in one corner of the comforter. I immediately called and spoke to someone over the phone who said that they would absolutely repair the tear for me. I would have also liked a partial refund on the cleaning, but didn't make a stink about it. When I brought the blanket in, the woman behind the counter told me that there was no way the tear could have happened at their facility (it did), and that it wasn't their policy to mend tears, so no one would have offered me that. I insisted that that was what I had been told over the phone, and she begrudgingly took the blanket. When I picked it up, it was dirty, with brown dirt spots and dust on it, and the repair was done poorly. Will absolutely not use this business again."

"Two major disappointments; overall terrible communication/customer service. We brought in a men's jacket to be dry cleaned. Woman at counter smelled the SHOUT we had sprayed on a jacket, and commented on it. When we went to pick it up, it was stained/damaged and no longer wearable. She told us it was because we had SHOUT on it before dry cleaning. And why didn't she tell us this first???? Had to pay for the ruined coat. Secondly took a simple polyester long dress in and was given the price of $19.50. Owner decided it was "fancy" and changed the price to $32 without telling us or giving us a choice to clean. Cost $32 to get it back."

"We dropped off sheets for their wash/dry/fold service and asked if they used any scented detergents and they said no. We picked up the load 6 days later (which the woman behind the counter was salty about because we wanted it a day "early", usually it takes 7 days because they send it to Brunswick), and the entire load stunk of perfume. We had to wash it all again. My husband called to find out what happened and to get a refund. They said they don't use perfumes, but maybe it came off someone else's laundry in a combined load, which is gross. They told him they would call back a week ago and never did."
