"*I am giving one star as I have no choice; let it be known that this is a forced 1 star rating.* I contacted Maine Gutter Works LLC in July (07/28/23) to inquire about replacing a gutter. At first, I was impressed with the response time as I received a response that same day. On July 28th, I agreed to the price quote and let Rick know that I would like to proceed with the installation. I was quoted with an estimated 6-7 weeks wait so that wait time I was aware of. The wait time that I was NOT expecting was the 11 additional weeks I have been waiting - TO SIMPLY RECEIVE A MERE RESPONSE! I reached out on September 14th to obtain the installation date. Today is November 29th, and I have heard not one word in response to my inquiry about the installation, which was originally quoted for 6-7 weeks. It's now a total of 18 weeks since my original communication. I cannot review their work, but as far as customer service goes . . . it is not stellar. Business tip: Do not agree to do a job if you are not going to follow through, and especially if you have no intention to make that clear to the customer! Though I appreciate the response below, NO, you will not be receiving a call from me - you should have all of my information in the chain of conversation / emails we shared in July. Receiving 100+ calls and emails is no excuse to neglect to follow through, especially after a) saying you would be in touch TO DO the INSTALL and b) after I tried several times to get a response. If the number of contacts you receive truly is an issue, I suggest getting better organized."
