"My one-year-old miniature golden doodle Ozzy loves “going to school” at Canine Academy! It’s so much more than a doggie day care. They are always posting videos to their Facebook group to show them working on basic manners like “sit to say please.” I love getting the photos and report cards at the end of the day showing my dog playing with his besties. Their trainers are amazing too. Ozzy is working with Victoria on learning how to calm himself down. Commands are great, but the real magic is when your dog learns to regulate his own nervous system. I’m so thankful for everyone at Canine Academy. They are the best in Southern Maine and the Seacoast NH as far as I’m concerned."

"My puppy started going to day school once a week here. She absolutely loves it. Also the sister company will come PICK HER UP and bring her in for $5! Which works out excellently for me because I start my work days @ 7 which is when they open. She's tired when she comes home so you know she's not just kenneled all day. They work with her, they play with her and she has her doggie besties! It's well worth every penny and as long as I can afford it she will continue to go here!"

"After almost 6 months of being a client at the Canine Academy, I can confidently say that this is the best place to bring your dog in the Seacoast area. We brought home a beautiful, but very shy 8 week old yellow lab in March of 2022 and knew with our busy schedules he would need a place to go to not only help with socialization, but also receive the daily exercise that a young pup desperately needs! Spinney has thrived at the Canine Academy and we have taken advantage of additional training to assist with his stranger danger anxiety, as well as transportation services when needed. I have full confidence that when I drop my dog off, he with a fantastic group of pups and trainers who truly care about him! This is not your standard daycare. Your dog will have an absolute blast playing with friends, but also structured life skills: impulse control, group sits with friends to naturally de-escalate play.
