"I have a seasonal residence in Wells, Maine. I live out of state. I contacted Brochu Plumbing in June for a small project. Owen Brochu came out and reviewed the job and quoted a price. He came out a second time a month or two later to re-measure. I patiently waited throughout the season as our association closes on November 1st. I called several times for an update and a timeline. Although the business voicemail says that Owen or his sister, the office manager, will return your call that remains to be seen. I haven’t received and communication from the business. If they were too busy for the small job, I could have easily accepted that fact and would have moved on instead of being jerked around all summer. The price quoted was extremely high, but I was in need of a professional obtains the proper permit. In retrospect, I feel the high quote was to discourage me from hiring him. Buyer beware."

"This company is outstanding. Look no further for your plumbing needs. Twice I had split pipes and no water - twice they came out immediately even with their busy schedule. A good honest company; bravo to Brochu for the great work you do. Update - my second experience with these folks was not quite so fruitful. We came home from SC to a leak in our plumbing. I had previously asked them for a quote to replace all my plumbing with Pex. Never got a reply. I also asked twice to place us on their list to open our camp in the summer. Never got a reply. With this recent leak, I called their office but got the recording. Hoping they'd help us again, I called again and left a "pleading" message to please give me the courtesy to let me know if they couldn't, or wouldn't, help us. I never got a reply. Obviously, the little jobs for the little people aren't as important. We're just a hassle to them I suppose. The money is in the big jobs, not us - that's all I can assume since the courtesy of a reply was never given. I won't bother you folks again - it's disappointing and demeaning. What goes around, comes around."
