"I dropped of my documents for review and then called back a week later and they didn't know who I was. After some tense discussion of giving them my name, SSN, etc, they remembered who I was. Not a very good sign. So now I'm trying to simply get my documents back but this is proving to be very difficult. Wish I had never given them my documents, big mistake. I would not recommend Jackson Hewitt. I tried calling the number they gave but it routed me to the local office, but it would not connect me. Now I'm in an endless loop on their main line, it won't connect me with anyone. So they told me to call with details but it won't allow me to do that."

"Today I was at the Congress St. location here in Portland Maine for a scheduled meeting to get my taxes done by Jackson Hewitt for the first time. I was very well pleased at the design inside which I didn't expect. The location was very well kept with a nice modern design,- I felt welcomed right off. The Maine reason I make this post is because of the man who prepared my taxes. His name is Alex Frueauf. (Good luck pronouncing his last name because I couldnt) But I can pronounce now the great service I had with Mr. Frueauf. He first surprised me with his worm smile that I could see even behind the mask!! Through the whole process he explained it to me in a way I could easily understand and what I could expect with the new stimulas checks. I had previously tried to get my taxes done through republicash as well as HR Block but there limited understanding of the stimulate checks as well as other miner issues this year got me weary. I was pleasantly surprised how well organized everything was including the paper work, my new card to get taxes deposited on, as well as my new "MyJH" account to track my refund with. Truly I have never used this company nore have I ever previously met MR. Frueauf before. I want to thank Him and Jackson Hewitt for being there for me this year. I will certainly be back next year! Thank you again Alex Frueauf!"

"Pathetic excuse for customer service. Accountant was late and couldn't even speak English. They had no internet connection, no printer and very little means to help their clients. What a waste of time and money, if Google allowed me to give them zero stars, I would."
