"I was recently informed that Poulin has initiated legal action preventing us from using a previous employee (who left on their own accord) for our 2019 taxes. We had close to 15 years doing business with Poulin and instead of honoring our choice to move on, they have chosen to preempt us from choosing who want to work with, by not allowing the tax preparer to work with us. We initiated the transition to the new firm on our own accord. We informed Poulin when they finally sent out a letter about the change, months after it occurred, because of their late notice and no information on what their plan was to keep our business. Poulin opted for their business interest over their long term customer's interest! Buyer beware."
