"I’ve been going to Rebekah for a few years now and she’s been a pleasure to work with. When I was in the middle of buying my home in 2020 I realized my current accountant had made some mistakes that were keeping us from being able to close..and I also found out only after calling them that he closed the doors and refused to help us. The mortgage lender I was using recommended Rebekah. Long story short, she got me right in, fixed all of the issues and we closed on the property on time. "DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE HERITAGE TAX COMPANY! My husband and I were recommended to use heritage tax company, I went in and met with Rebekah and the first thing I told her “I have no idea how to do taxes, you’ll need to walk me through it.” Of course her answer was the typical “oh yeah we’ve got this”. Now to the juicy stuff: a couple months go by after I’ve attached all documents she asked for with no word back. Seemed strange, but I thought “that’s just the way she works” then my husband starts having questions that I couldn’t answer so I told him to email Rebekah. She never once got back to my husband, so then I asked her. For every two questions only one got answered, (remember this is all over email, she never called me once). I finally hear back around the beginning of April and she needs me to again sign a consent form (she apparently messed up on my 2021 filing and had to fix it, that’s cool. (She never told me what though)). Fast forward to just before July 4th: my husband and I are looking at buying a home, when our loan officer looks at our taxes she’s horrified! Turns out I had forgotten to attach the correct profit loss statement and she never questioned it! I attached a half done profit and loss sheet and she never emailed me saying “whooa where’s your income??”. Rebekah was made aware of the situation and put very little effort into trying to amend our taxes. Fast forward to today: I’m currently having to redo both 2021 and 2022 taxes with a new CPA because Rebekah not only reported that I was married in 2021 (I was not), but made me to appear as a very fraudulent business owner. Long story short, Rebekah doesn’t listen to her clients and does what she needs to meet her bottom line, at her clients expense."
