"The 4 star ratings are very misleading/inaccurate. I came here for my first pregnancy and it was NOT pleasant. I would come with my husband each time and they always separated us after the ultrasound. On my 3rd visit I requested my husband to be present in the room because I started feeling like a single mother, alone in the room with the nurse asking me questions I’ve never experienced before. However , they did NOT allow him in the room. Due to the lack of compassion, that was the LAST visit I gave them. I transferred to a other OBGYN and I am so glad I did. As first time parents, I felt my husband was just as important to be present at each appointment and the new practice I went to was beyond welcoming , comfortable and the OBGYN was alway happy to see us both . Dr. Elizabeth Mayhall from Partners OBGYN in Pawtucket was the best! She was my care taker from the first appointment until my last and even AFTER birth . She also is a partner at Women & infants !"

"In 2021, my girlfriend was a patient here. My daughter was born with a heart condition. It wasn’t detected like it should have been picked up on an ultrasound prior to birth. She went three days without knowing she had a heart condition due to the practice missing it. Because of this terrible practice, my daughter had to be rushed up to Boston three days old to have emergency heart surgery. This should have been detected before birth. My daughter was born three days and suffered because the doctor never detected it on an ultrasound like it should have been. My girlfriends thyroid level was also low and they never put her on any thyroid medication. Now she has hypothyroidism."

"Honestly, this place is great, but they really need to do a better job at answering the phone? I feel as though every time I call, I have to call back at LEAST 3 times before someone answers the phone. I’m not sure why that happens, but it can be super inconvenient to call an office 3 times before someone answers. Other than that; the staff and everyone are great here!"

"Really great OBGYN, they make you feel important. They answer the phone every time you call. Dr Clifford is amazing she really makes you feel like she care. I unfortunately had to move back to Florida but I will definitely miss coming to Venus thank you guys for everything and keep it up. Thank you."

"I switched to venus because broadway obgyn was horrific between overbooking their doctors and the front desk ladies being miserable, making you wait in the waiting room for an hour sometimes, and most importantly they NEVER had any openings, to the point where having any gynecological issues I avoided them until they got real bad because I didn’t want to have to deal with them. Before I even went to venus for the first time when I called to book an appointment the woman on the phone was so sweet not sure who she was but I had a million questions and she answered them with no problem and didn’t lose her patience at all and was just overall pleasant. They had openings immediately that week which was awesome. Both appointments I had I waited no more than 10 minutes for them to call me in each time. For my consult I met with Dr.Freeman and she was great, didn’t rush out of the room like my old office and listened to all my concerns and actually addressed them, and was willing to let me try an IUD where my old office always said I wouldn’t be a good fit for no reason. For my IUD insertion I had Dr.Clifford and I cannot say enough good things about her!! she took my Nexplanon implant out super fast and painless, and overall wasn’t being so cold and overly professional to the point it makes you nervous. She talked me through every step and made sure I understood while also joking around with me and eased my nerves so much, even my boyfriend I brought with me agreed she made him less nervous and he wasn’t even the one getting the procedure haha. She also finished the insertion super quick and made it as painless as she could for me it was impressive. I’m super happy I decided to switch here and they have a great staff!! HIGHLY reccomend. :)"
