"I have been living in Canaan for around 12 years and have had very mixed service from the Canaan PO. The staff in the office most recently have been helpful and polite, but delivery during the spring mud season are atrocious. It has been a week now and no delivery have been made to Walker Hill Rd and many other local roads. The PO blames the road condition yet UPS and FedeX are making regular delivery without issue. As Canaan has a large percentage of dirt roads it begs the question why are they not provided with vehicles that can handle these conditions during the spring thaw ? The town of Canaan is also to blame for not properly maintaining the local roads, what do we pay such high taxes for ?"

"The mail carrier is horrible! Just pulled out in front of me. I had to slam my brakes on and went into the ditch. She kept driving. I had my kids in the car and they started crying."

"The mail carrier is horrible! Most recently she refused to deliver due to weeds growing up around the mailbox. The mailbox is mounted along the roadside by the edge of the woods. The entire box is clearly visible and easily accessible, yet "unsafe to deliver to". Honestly, I put myself in the shoes of the mail carrier and can't come to any conclusion except she's ridiculous. She has terrible customer service! However, the older lady who works inside, very polite and respectful."

"Every time I order something, their workers can’t find anything. They’re too lazy to look for anything. It would be nice if they owned up to their job. I’d give a higher rating if there were smarter people there and knew what they were there for."
