"It’s not often I go online to leave reviews but after the experience I had with the young lady I met today I have to. She was beyond phenomenal, upon hearing her toot her horn in my driveway I ran out with my infant in my arms to get certified mail. Knowing I had my hands very full she held the scanner for me to sign and then proceeded to let me use her back as a table to sign the piece of paper on the mail. She was so sweet and courteous of the fact I had my hands full with my son, i beyond appreciate her kindness and patience with me as I know being a mail worker myself I’m only one of hundreds of stops on this hot Saturday"
"Older woman who works there couldn’t get any more rude. I will never go back in there. Thank goodness there is other post offices around to help when sending something out. The other guy that works in there has always been very helpful. But this woman was RUDE RUDE RUDE."
"There is an older woman who works there that has quickly become my mortal enemy. She is the Voldemort in my life, the Sauran, the Frieza. But I digress. There is rarely anyone at the desk, you have to hit a little bell just to get the attention of someone who acts like you are pestering them. There are multiple signs that say no cell phone, even while the staff just hang out on theirs. You ask if they have shipping boxes? They say, “don’t know, did you look?” You ask about shipping rates? “It’s like a dollar extra or something.” You say good morning? You receive a blank stare and silence. I literally drive to further post offices just to not see my nemesis. There is a guy there (possibly manager) who is very nice, and a lady who works sometimes that is helpful, but the utter rudeness of this one employee gives it the 1 star."
"This post office can't keep track even when the address is clearly visible. Mail seems to go anywhere but to me. They are supposed to hold packages for 30 days but send them back within a week. Postmaster even said they get "overzealous" and send things back to soon. It's not like I want my Mail or packages tho, right?"
"Friendly staff, but I’m not 100% sure they know what they’re doing at this post office. I’ve mailed at least fifty packages through this post office in the last year or so, and a good half of them had very strange mailing issues that I have never encountered at any other post office I’ve used before. A lot of them end up sitting there, marked to go out for 3-5 days after I’ve shipped them only to slowly make their way to the sorting facility in southern Maine. This was on shipments that are supposed to only take 2-3 days to arrive. Some packages randomly arrive much faster than expected, which is definitely something I wouldn’t complain about... except that sometimes it’s an issue of what day the person will be home or not and the intended time of arrival depends on that. I’ve even had a shipment go to NEW ZEALAND instead of Germany, for some unexplained reason. (I even called the tracking service number and they said it was marked to go to Germany so there’s no reason it should have been there.) I honestly don’t claim to understand how any post office works, and I know things can happen to anyone. But they sure seem to happen... a lot at this post office."
