"Caretenders provided PT services for my family member on a memory unit in an assisted living facility. I can't tell you much of anything about the work they did with their patient because they had no communication with the family and very little with the staff at the facility. I left numerous messages for a therapist to call with no replies and on my last attempt, I was told by the person answering the phone that she had been discharged 2 weeks prior because she had met her goals. Wanting to know what her goals and progress were, I requested a call from the discharging therapist and a discharge summary and instead got 49 pages of repetitive visit notes which required a lot of time to go through and gave limited information. Apparently they worked with her to use a walker, but they gave no information or instruction to family or staff so she remains in a wheelchair. Whatever they did is of limited value since they won't give any instructions or information about what she can or should be doing."
