"The staff here are great. The bathrooms are kinda janky though as the first floor ones don't have napkins or paper towels and the air dryer doesn't always work."
"Aug2022: 5β: I would recommend this hospital location. This place should be the first stop in an emergency situation, after care, or outpatient surgery needs. The medical staff, support staff, and students were all capable and competent. I was caring for my family member at this hospital and every person we encountered on this specific occasion was trying to help us and saw my family member as a person. The kidney specialist, the student intern, the oncologist, the urologist, and the hemotologist. Each of the "gist" doctors we were seen by were informative and helpful in caring for my family member. They performed an accurate patient assessment and follow up. The medical staff personnel gave a standard of care appropriate for my family member. The medical staff were not neglectful, were compassionate, and not dismissive. They were respectful of my family member and of my questions as well to help my family member understand more of what was happening at the time. This whole experience brought a lot of moving pieces to bear. The nurse case managers and social workers worked to get items accomplished on my family member's behalf while he was there. In the aftercare and discharge planning, the efforts to ensure that my family member was going to be cared for were apparent in the level of attention given in the document. This is the level of care, I was expecting at the previous hospital for my family member that I did not get."
"Security grabbed my service dog and tried to walk away"
"I go to the eye clinic, and I am impressed at how short a time you have to wait before you are seen. Also, both the assistants and the doctors themselves take the time to talk with you, answer your questions, give you options, and not rush you through as if you were just a piece of meat (or a set of eyeballs). I have been to other doctor's offices where I feel like they don't even consider me a human worth talking to - so how can they know what to do when they don't know how I feel and what my situation is?? I see Dr. Pira and he is excellent."
