"for months and months i was having all these severe symptoms, seizures, psychosis, passing out, derealization, severe anxiety, involuntary convulsions, etc. i’m only 14 and was in and out of hospitals for moths and each doctor was saying something different i was being told it was all anxiety and to ‘keep seeing my therapist’ i knew something very bad was going on. I finally saw Dr. carrazco and she spent an hour and a half listening and she was so kind and came up with what she thought it was which tied all the symptoms together, she thought it was autoimmune encephalitis. she said she was going to do tests and if those came back negative more tests. She was very respectful and when the tests came back positive i got admitted for treatment. i’m still dealing with it less intense but if it went undiagnosed, i could have died. i would 10/10 recommend her for everyone she is amazing"
